Wellington

Auckland

The Great Barrier Island is situated at the mouth of Hauraki Gulf. It has acres of long sandy beaches on its eastern side and deep water sheltered inlets on its western shore. The rugged spine of steep ridges, running down the middle, completes the picture. As a result of this geographical magnificence a number of walkways, hot springs, towering Kauri forests and serene atmosphere form a part and parcel of the life in this place. Old logging trails and tramways afford interest to the tourist. It would be a great place to invest for those who love the sun, sand and sea.
Harihari
This is a small town on the west coast of the south island. The first Solo flight by Guy Menzies in 1931 (Australia to New Zealand over the Tasman sea) landed in the marsh here. Due to the marshy terrain, it is the home of a number of birds and is the bird watcher’s haven. Trout and salmon fishing is also a popular sport in this region.
Stewart Island
This is another Island in New Zealand that is a Bird watcher’s paradise. The tui parakeets, kaka and bellbirds abound in this region. The kiwi is common on this island. The place has a number of beautiful beaches, a good network of walking tracks. Much of the southern part of the island is deserted while a number of huts and small houses exist on the northern end. The islanders are not very friendly but a number of homestays have sprung up over the years to accommodate the sport lovers and bird watchers.
Auckland and Christ Church
ChristChurch and Auckland are densely populated cities in New Zealand. Most buildings in these cities is modern and high rise constructions are very common. The suburbs are dotted with large houses with expansive plots. The expansion of employment opportunities in the cities has attracted people from all parts of New Zealand.
Auckland is also one of the most expensive cities. This city has enjoyed a healthy 12% rise in investments over the past two years. It attracts a large immigrant and tourist population.
In Christchurch property prices are a lot cheaper and more stable. Most people migrating to this city are from the suburbs. It is attractive to tourists who flock here for the beaches, vineyards and so on. It is considered to be one of the nicest locations in New Zealand to live in.
